Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is Unfrozen’s official prequel to the turn-based strategy series, published by Hooded Horse. You raise armies, spend movement points on a fogged map and settle fights on a tactical grid where heroes cast from four schools of magic while units spend Focus on unique abilities.

Six factions ship in Early Access, among them Temple knights, Grove spirits, Dungeon dragons and Necropolis undead, each with their own towns, heroes and creature lines. Build a starting city, capture dwellings and landmarks, then push a campaign opening act, self-contained scenarios, generated or hand-crafted maps, and online or solo sessions. A map editor lets you design boards; the full remaining campaign acts and extra map layers are planned beyond this Early Access cut.
