About Valiant Hearts: The Great War

Ubisoft Montpellier’s 2014 comic follows four civilians through the trenches of the First World War: Emile, Karl, Freddie, and Anna, plus the dog Walt. You solve rooms with medals, cookware, and letters while the art stays UPA-flat and the archive photos sit under the puzzle. It is a story of people the war swallowed, told as a 2D side-scroll.

The campaign is a solo puzzle walk. This Global key is Valiant Hearts: The Great War as Ubisoft shipped it, without later costume packs on other products.
