This edition includes access to ARK’s worlds — Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Genesis Part 1, Genesis Part 2, and more. The Island is available now; subsequent expansion maps arrive at no extra cost on a regular schedule. Between storms and hunger meters, you harvest, farm, raise structures, customise your survivor, and ride what you have trained into the next biome.
A living map that moves when you do
Lumen lighting, Nanite detail, dynamic water, and foliage that reacts to footsteps, gunfire, and falling timber are not wallpaper here — they change how you read a stalk through tall grass or a demolition that scatters into the shallows. Quality-of-life work refreshes UI, creature pathfinding, wild babies, photo and camera tools, mapping, tracking, plus new structures, items, and creatures for players who already lived on older ARK servers.
Cross-platform multiplayer supports public sessions of up to 70 players, private sessions of up to eight, and local split-screen for two. An in-game mod browser unlocks community maps, creatures, items, and modes across platforms — the stream of custom ARK content that used to stay siloed.
