À propos de Split Fiction
Mio writes sci-fi. Zoe writes fantasy. A corporate machine meant to harvest their ideas instead traps both authors inside the stories they invented — and Split Fiction refuses to let either escape alone. Hazelight Studios built the game as a two-player-only co-op adventure, continuing the studio’s belief that the best set-pieces happen when someone beside you is holding the other half of the solution.

Genre whiplash as gameplay
Chapters hop between neon future cities and storybook wilderness without warning. One sequence asks you to tame dragons; the next turns you into cyber ninjas dodging traffic, then drops trolls and robotic parking attendants into the same afternoon. Split Fiction treats each shift like a new collaboration brief — fresh mechanics, fresh jokes, fresh reasons to talk through the plan before you press forward.
Co-op puzzles with a shared punchline
Every obstacle expects two perspectives. Abilities split across Mio and Zoe so neither player becomes a passenger, and failure usually arrives because communication broke down, not because the difficulty curve spiked unfairly. If you enjoyed the rhythm of It Takes Two, the structure here feels familiar in the best way: constant invention, zero filler combat, and chapters short enough for one more attempt after a missed jump.

The through-line is friendship under pressure — two writers learning to trust each other while fighting to leave with their memories intact. That emotional arc stays light enough for couch sessions but gives the spectacle a reason beyond set-piece tourism. Co-op shoppers browsing PC Games often grab Split Fiction when they want a guaranteed two-player evening rather than optional online matchmaking.

Pairs who finish the campaign and want more shared-screen storytelling usually revisit A Way Out for Hazelight’s earlier escape drama. Kitchen chaos fans keep Overcooked Special Edition in rotation, online squads after horde nights pick up Back 4 Blood, open-world co-op groups drift toward Palworld, and tactics partners may prefer Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle between story games.
Split Fiction is built for one setup: two players, one screen, and a willingness to laugh when the game swaps genres mid-sentence — the kind of co-op adventure you finish in a weekend and talk about longer than the credits roll.
