Assetto Corsa comes from Kunos Simulazioni, a studio based at the Vallelunga circuit near Rome. The first game launched fully on PC in 2014 and earned a strong reputation for its force feedback, laser-scanned tracks and a modding community that still adds cars and circuits today.
GT racing and beyond
Assetto Corsa Competizione, released in 2019, focuses on GT3 and GT4 racing as the official game of the GT World Challenge series, with realistic weather, tyre behaviour and endurance events. A new main game, Assetto Corsa EVO, entered early access in 2025, while Assetto Corsa Rally took the name off-road.
These games reward patience. A wheel and pedals are not required, but they make a big difference. Assetto Corsa game keys are for drivers who want to learn braking points and setups rather than drift through every corner.
