Anti-Fraud Policy
Anti-Fraud & Financial Crime Prevention Policy
Protecting our customers, payment security, and digital marketplace
At Urazon.com, we are committed to maintaining a safe, transparent, and trustworthy environment for purchasing digital games, software activation keys, gift cards, and prepaid digital products.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards payment fraud, unauthorized transactions, the misuse of stolen financial information, money laundering, and other illegal financial activities.
This policy explains how we protect our customers, review suspicious transactions, and respond to potential financial crime.
1. Authorized Payment Methods
Customers must use payment methods that they are legally authorized to use.
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Using stolen, compromised, or unauthorized credit or debit cards.
- Making purchases with payment details obtained through fraud, phishing, or identity theft.
- Using another person's payment method without proper authorization.
- Providing false or misleading payment or identity information.
- Attempting to bypass payment security checks or transaction restrictions.
- Using multiple accounts or payment methods to evade fraud prevention controls.
Urazon reserves the right to decline or review transactions when there are reasonable indications of unauthorized payment activity.
2. Gift Cards, Prepaid Codes & Digital Wallet Top-Ups
Gift cards, prepaid codes, and digital wallet balances may be targeted by criminals because digital products can often be transferred or redeemed quickly.
To reduce these risks, Urazon applies additional precautions to relevant products, including Steam Wallet, Xbox, PlayStation, and other prepaid gaming or digital gift cards.
We prohibit purchasing or using these products for:
- Converting funds obtained through fraud or other criminal activities into digital assets.
- Concealing the origin, ownership, or destination of illegally obtained funds.
- Facilitating money laundering or terrorist financing.
- Transferring value on behalf of fraudulent or unauthorized third parties.
- Circumventing transaction limits by using multiple accounts or identities.
Certain products may be subject to purchase quantity limits, additional verification, or temporary delivery restrictions.
3. Transaction Monitoring & Fraud Detection
Urazon and its authorized payment service providers may use automated security systems and manual reviews to identify potentially fraudulent transactions.
Security checks may take into account relevant factors such as:
- Unusual purchasing patterns or repeated transactions.
- Multiple attempted payments using different cards.
- Inconsistencies between payment, account, and transaction information.
- Unusual purchasing activity involving gift cards or prepaid products.
- Attempts to circumvent purchase limits or previously applied restrictions.
- Fraud warnings or security notifications received from payment providers.
A security alert does not automatically mean that a customer has committed fraud.
Transactions are assessed based on the available information and applicable legal requirements.
4. Payment Verification & Identity Checks
For transactions presenting a reasonable security risk, Urazon may request additional verification before delivering digital products.
Depending on the circumstances, verification may involve:
- Confirmation of the customer's order and payment authorization.
- Additional authentication through the payment service provider.
- Verification of relevant account or transaction information.
- Other proportionate information necessary to resolve a specific security concern.
We will never ask customers to disclose their payment card PIN, CVV/CVC security code, online banking password, or one-time authentication code to our support team.
Where identification documents are legitimately required, they must be collected through an appropriate secure process and handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Failure to complete a reasonably necessary security verification may result in the order being delayed, declined, or cancelled, subject to applicable consumer rights.
5. Suspicious Orders & Delivery Restrictions
Digital products are generally delivered electronically after successful payment and completion of applicable order processing.
However, payment authorization alone does not guarantee immediate delivery when a transaction has been flagged for additional security review.
Where justified by a specific security concern, Urazon may:
- Temporarily suspend delivery of a digital activation key or gift card.
- Request further payment verification.
- Decline or cancel an unauthorized or suspicious transaction.
- Temporarily restrict purchasing privileges while a security incident is investigated.
- Suspend or terminate accounts involved in confirmed serious violations, subject to applicable law.
Any payment reversal or refund following cancellation will be processed through the appropriate payment channel and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
6. Account Abuse & Purchase Limit Circumvention
Customers must not attempt to bypass Urazon's fraud prevention measures.
Examples of prohibited conduct include creating multiple accounts to evade purchasing restrictions, repeatedly changing account information to defeat security checks, or attempting to resume transactions after a security-related restriction using deceptive information.
Urazon may take proportionate preventive action against accounts associated with substantiated abuse.
7. Anti-Money Laundering & Financial Crime Prevention
Urazon does not permit its services or digital products to be knowingly used for money laundering, terrorist financing, payment fraud, or other financial crimes.
We may review suspicious purchasing activity, preserve relevant transaction records where legally justified, and cooperate with payment providers, financial institutions, and competent authorities.
Where required or permitted by applicable law, relevant information may be disclosed to authorized public authorities, including law enforcement and competent financial crime authorities.
Any legally required reporting or other regulatory measures will be carried out according to the obligations applicable to Urazon's actual business activities.
8. Unauthorized Payments & Chargebacks
If you believe your payment card or account has been used without authorization, contact your bank or payment provider immediately.
You may also contact Urazon customer support and provide the relevant order information.
We investigate reported unauthorized transactions and cooperate with payment providers during payment disputes.
Customers retain their statutory rights to dispute unauthorized payments and seek applicable remedies. Raising a legitimate payment dispute does not, by itself, constitute fraud.
9. Privacy & Protection of Customer Data
Fraud prevention activities may require processing certain account, order, device, payment-related, and technical information.
Personal information is processed only where a valid legal basis exists, for specified purposes, and subject to applicable data protection requirements, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Information is retained only for as long as necessary under the applicable retention criteria and legal obligations.
Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.
10. Fair Treatment & Customer Support
We recognize that legitimate transactions may occasionally trigger security checks.
Customers whose orders have been delayed or restricted may contact our support team to request clarification or assistance.
We aim to review security concerns fairly, proportionately, and without unnecessary delays.
11. Changes to This Policy
Urazon may update this policy to reflect changes in fraud prevention practices, security risks, payment provider requirements, or applicable legislation.
The latest version will be published on Urazon.com.
