Cat Quest, from Singapore studio The Gentlebros, was released in 2017 as a compact open-world action RPG set in Felingard, a kingdom of cats. You play a cat hero on a quest to rescue your sister from the villain Drakoth, exploring a colourful map that looks like an illustrated storybook.
Combat is quick real-time action with dodges and spells, and the game is full of cat puns, from "Pawt Spell" quests to "purr-ilous" dungeons. It is easy to pick up, which makes it a lovely choice for younger players or anyone looking for a lighter RPG.
Sequels with friends
Cat Quest II added a dog king and two-player co-op, and Cat Quest III took the series to the high seas with pirates and ship battles. Cat Quest game keys deliver charming adventures that fit nicely into a weekend.
