Saints Row, developed by Volition, launched in 2006 as a gang-focused open-world game in the city of Stilwater. With each sequel it leaned harder into absurd humour until it became something completely its own.
Saints Row 2 is remembered for its deep character creator and over-the-top activities. Saints Row: The Third moved the gang to Steelport with giant dildo bats, wrestling and tank-based chaos, while Saints Row IV handed out superpowers and an alien invasion. Gat out of Hell went literally to hell, and the 2022 reboot started over with a new crew in Santo Ileso.
The series is all about doing whatever you want, as loudly as possible, ideally with a friend in co-op. Saints Row game keys are for players who think crime sandboxes should never take themselves seriously.
