Styx is a stealth series from French studio Cyanide starring a sarcastic, foul-mouthed goblin assassin. The character first appeared in the action RPG Of Orcs and Men (2012) before getting his own game, Styx: Master of Shadows (2014), a prequel set in a towering human and elf city.
The games focus on pure stealth in vertical levels full of alternate routes. Styx is small and fragile, so he hides in shadows, climbs and sneaks past guards, and uses amber-fuelled powers like invisibility and clones of himself to distract enemies. Styx: Shards of Darkness (2017) added larger levels, crafting and co-op, and the series continues with Styx: Blades of Greed. Dark humour and fourth-wall-breaking death screens give it a unique personality.
Styx game keys are a treat for fans of patient, creative stealth.
