Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass codes explained

Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft's subscription service, launched in 2017. Instead of buying every game separately, members get access to a rotating catalogue that they can download and play for as long as the membership is active.

How the tiers differ

The service is offered in several tiers for console and PC, and the top tier, Game Pass Ultimate, bundles online multiplayer on Xbox, PC access, cloud gaming on supported devices and EA Play. First-party Microsoft games arrive in the higher tiers on the day they launch, which is a big part of the service's appeal.

Games come and go over time, but members can usually buy titles from the catalogue at a discount. Prepaid Xbox Game Pass codes add membership time to your Microsoft account without a recurring card payment. Check that the code's region matches your account before redeeming it.
