About Rivals of Aether
Rivals of Aether is an indie fighting game by Aether Studios, released in March 2017, set in a world where warring civilisations summon the power of Fire, Water, Air and Earth. Choose a Rival and manipulate the classical elements and animal movement on the battlefield. Praised for its competitive gameplay and intensive training tools, it is the perfect entry to the platform fighter genre.
Fight in competitive 1v1 or 2v2 matches or free-for-alls in Versus mode, learn each Rival's backstory in Story mode with drop-in local co-op, and survive waves of shadowy fighters in Abyss mode, alone or with a friend. Relax with beach Tetherball, take on Online Versus with your own rules or climb the leaderboard in Ranked mode. Tutorial mode teaches beginner to advanced skills, and Practice mode shows frame data and hitbox visualisations.
