About Mad Max
Mad Max is an open-world action game from Avalanche Studios set in a savage post-apocalyptic wasteland. After the warlord Scrotus and his War Boys steal his V8 Interceptor and leave him for dead, Max teams up with the hunchbacked mechanic Chumbucket to build a new car, the Magnum Opus, and head for the fabled Plains of Silence.
Driving is at the heart of the game: you ram, harpoon and board enemy convoys, then strip their scrap to upgrade your engine, armour and weapons. On foot, Max fights with brutal melee combat and a scarce shotgun. Between missions you free territory from Scrotus' grip by toppling scarecrows, taking strongholds and hunting for water, fuel and food. RoW key: activation is not possible in every country.
