About Rivals of Aether II
Rivals of Aether II is the next generation of platform fighters and multiplayer brawlers by Aether Studios, published with offbrand games and released in October 2024. The sequel to the hit indie fighting game is expanded with 3D visuals, new mechanics and improved online support, set in the Aether universe where Rivals harness Fire, Water, Air and Earth to clobber each other.
Fight CPUs, friends locally or online with rollback netcode in 1v1, 2v2 or free-for-all battles. A launch roster of 10 Rivals grows with free post-launch characters, and shields, ledges, grabs and throws add depth, alongside the Pummel, Ledge and Getup Specials. Customisable controls keep it easy to play and fun to master, while event updates add modes, cosmetics and lore.
