About Umbrella Corps

Umbrella Corps is a competitive third-person shooter developed and published by Capcom. Steam release date: 21 June 2016.

Years after the fall of the Umbrella Corporation, shadowy companies hire special-forces squads to fight one another in virus-infected zones. Umbrella Corps turns that premise into short, intense team matches on compact maps themed on classic Resident Evil locations. Zombies roam every arena, and a jammer on your back keeps them from noticing you until it is damaged. The One Life mode gives each player a single chance per round, and The Experiment offers solo missions to sharpen your skills. Expect intense violence, blood and gore.

Key Features

  • Resident Evil setting – classic locations as arenas.
  • Fast team matches – close-quarters combat.
  • Zombie jammer – infected as a hazard.
  • One Life mode – one chance per round.
  • Solo missions – The Experiment mode.

Related Games

If the mix of gunfire and shambling infected in Umbrella Corps is what appeals, Killing Floor 2 is a natural fit, a co-op shooter where your team holds out against waves of grotesque specimens created by a rogue biotech firm. GTFO keeps the squad-based tension but slows everything down, asking four players to sneak and plan their way through a dark underground complex full of sleeping monsters. Hunt: Showdown 1896 mixes player-versus-player shootouts with monster hunting in a way that echoes this game's crowded arenas, only on much larger maps. And Dying Light: The Beast is the pick for anyone who wants the infected-city setting in a full open-world adventure with parkour and night-time danger.
