About DayZ
DayZ from Bohemia Interactive is a hardcore open-world survival game set after a collapse that has left the land overrun by infected. Up to 60 players share each server, scavenging towns and military bases for food, water, medicine and weapons while managing hunger, thirst, body temperature and injuries.
The game includes the 230 km² Chernarus map and the 163 km² Livonia terrain. Team up with strangers, build and fortify a base, repair vehicles or travel alone, and use proximity voice chat to negotiate. Thousands of community servers and Steam Workshop mods let you tailor the experience.
