About Drift Streets Japan
Drift Streets Japan is an indie drift racing game developed by JDM4iK Games and published by SA Industry and BATYSTORE LTD. Steam release date: 21 December 2015.
This one is all about holding a slide. You take Japanese street cars onto narrow night roads and practice tracks and try to link corners without kissing the wall. The handling is simple enough to pick up in a few minutes, but keeping a long, clean angle takes practice. Between runs you can open the garage and tweak your car, from engine parts such as the SR20DE to suspension and looks. It is a modest, budget game rather than a full simulator, which is exactly why it works as a quick drift fix.
Key Features
- Night street runs – drift through dark city roads.
- Track sessions – practise lines on closed circuits.
- Cockpit view – feel every slide from the driver seat.
- Garage tuning – swap engine parts and settings.
- Low requirements – runs on old PCs.
PC Version and Compatibility
Minimum requirements: Windows 7, Intel Celeron / Pentium 4, NVIDIA GTX 275, DirectX 9, 1 GB RAM, 1 GB storage. Available in English only. Polish, German, French, Italian and Spanish are not supported.
Global Activation & What You Receive
You receive a digital Steam key for the standard game. It is a Global key with no regional restriction, so it works on a Steam account in any country. In the Steam client choose Games → Activate a Product on Steam, enter the code and the game is added to your library permanently.
Why Buy This Game?
Drift Streets Japan suits players who want a cheap, no-fuss JDM drift game for short sessions. The key is available at Urazon. Age rating: USK 12.
Related Games
If you want more sideways time, Absolute Drift strips drifting down to clean, top-down style and pure control, while CarX Drift Racing Online is the place to go for online lobbies and much deeper car setup. Drift86 keeps the same budget, Japanese-car spirit as this game, and CarX Street opens the streets up into a bigger city with racing, tuning and a career around it.
