Worms game keys: turn-based artillery with a sense of humour
Worms was created by Andy Davidson and released by Team17 in 1995. Teams of tiny, cheeky worms take turns blasting each other across destructible 2D landscapes, and the series has kept that formula alive for three decades.
The arsenal is the real star: bazookas and grenades sit next to the Holy Hand Grenade, exploding sheep, banana bombs and the Concrete Donkey. Wind, terrain and a ninja rope turn every shot into a small physics puzzle, and a single lucky shot can knock three worms into the water at once.
Worms Armageddon remains a fan favourite, while later entries such as Worms W.M.D added vehicles and crafting, and Worms Rumble tried real-time action. Worms game keys are perfect for local multiplayer nights where friendships are tested one turn at a time.
