About Ashen
Ashen is an action RPG developed by A44 and published by Annapurna Interactive. Steam release date: 9 December 2019.
In a world without sun, where light is precious and danger lurks in every shadow, you play a wanderer searching for a place to call home. Exploring a hand-crafted open world reveals caves, ruins and hidden paths, and the people you meet can join your growing settlement, unlocking new gear and stories. Combat is weighty and deliberate, built on stamina, dodging and well-timed strikes, and death costs you the scoria you were carrying until you retrieve it. Companions travel with you, and if you play online they may be real players who drift into your game and help without words. The striking faceless art style gives the journey a calm, melancholic beauty.
