About I AM YOUR BEAST VR
I AM YOUR BEAST VR brings Strange Scaffold's short-form covert revenge thriller into virtual reality. The adaptation was developed by Flat2VR Spark together with Strange Scaffold, published by Impact Inked and released on 17 September 2026. It is a VR-only single-player game that places you inside the one-man war of Alphonse Harding, a retired secret agent who has been asked to complete one last job one too many times. When he refuses his latest mission, a furious guerrilla war erupts between him and the Covert Operations Initiative, and the forest soon fills with bodies and bullet casings.
The core loop is fast and physical. You grab enemy weapons, fire them until they are empty, throw them, catch the next one and keep moving. You duck, climb, strike and vanish into a tunnel network before enemy forces close in on your position, then repeat. The 'he is in the walls' fantasy of the original has been rebuilt for VR, so gunplay, throwing, catching and climbing are all done with your own hands in close-quarters chaos.
The fully voiced story campaign spans more than twenty levels, each designed as a replayable micro-sandbox. You can chase side objectives and shave seconds off your best runs, which makes the game ideal for short sessions and speedrunning. Pistols, sniper rifles, bear traps and more can be wielded directly, and a stylish comic-book art direction keeps every situation readable at speed.
Kinetic cutscenes carry the pulp thriller attitude directly into the headset, supported by a heart-pounding soundtrack from award-winning composer RJ Lake. The game uses stylised graphic violence with exaggerated comic-style blood, head explosions and ragdoll deaths, and is rated 16 (Germany 16).
