About Pro Basketball Manager 2026

Pro Basketball Manager 2026 is a sports management simulation that puts you in the role of head coach and architect of a basketball dynasty. It was developed and published by Umix Studios and released for Windows and macOS on 17 November 2025. The game asks you to run every part of a professional club, from daily training and match tactics to long-term budgets and facilities. Every decision shapes your legacy, both on the court and away from it, and the season never pauses to wait for you to catch up.

The scale of the database is the first thing that stands out. You can take charge of one of more than 2,000 professional teams spread across 90 domestic leagues, and 17 of those leagues are women’s competitions. For the first time in the series, the Basketball Champions League is part of the game, fully licensed with all of its official clubs and players. More than 20 national leagues carry licences too, including competitions from France, Turkey, Lithuania, Italy, Sweden, Norway and New Zealand, as well as the women’s Adriatic league. Beyond club duty, you can also manage national teams.

Squad building is where most of your hours go. Deep scouting and recruitment systems help you assemble a roster from young prospects to established superstars. Team chemistry has been reworked so that leaders, influential players and shared history matter more than before. Players who spend more time on the court together develop stronger synergy, but keeping your leaders happy can be expensive. You may have to decide whether to overpay a current leader to keep him or bring in a new star and risk breaking the balance of the dressing room.

Conversations carry real weight this year. Important actions such as transfer exits and dismissals now require negotiation, so you explain your decision, handle the reaction and live with the result. If talks go badly, you may end up with a demotivated player. Pre-season planning works the same way: you can schedule warm-up games against big teams to draw large crowds and earn more income, or test tactics quietly on the road. A heavy defeat can hurt morale, so these early choices decide how well your team starts the season.

The long game rewards patience. Investing in youth recruitment and the draft lets you produce the next generation of talent, and the club receives a payout when the players you develop are drafted. Off the court, the facilities map lets you upgrade buildings such as the medical centre and youth academy. A powerful data editor and level editor support let you adjust the game world to your liking, and adjustable difficulty helps both newcomers and veterans find the right challenge.

Presentation has also been rebuilt. All textures and 3D character models were redone, with new hairstyles, beards and accessories such as headbands, sleeves and shoes giving every player a distinct look. Animations and lighting were reworked for more fluid matches, and the in-game AI offers several difficulty levels. A redesigned interface means large tables and lists load up to twenty times faster, so finding statistics takes moments. The game supports mouse-only play, saving at any time and cloud saves, and it is rated USK 0 in Germany.
