About Time Lock VR-1

Time Lock VR-1 is a virtual reality puzzle game developed by WR-VRG and published by Whale Rock Games. Steam release date: 9 August 2017. A VR headset is required.

As a Time Agent you visit the same rooms in different timelines and solve puzzles built around a time machine: slow an object down, rewind it or carry it from one era into another. Every room is fully interactive, so you can throw things, open every drawer and switch lights on and off while you search for clues. Between puzzles you face enemies and bosses with special weapons and time-control tools, plus small minigames.

Key Features

  • Time control – slow, rewind, transport.
  • Several timelines – one room, many eras.
  • Interactive rooms – open, throw, switch.
  • Combat moments – enemies and bosses.
  • VR only – motion controllers.

Why Buy This Game?

Time Lock VR-1 suits VR owners who like escape rooms with a sci-fi twist. The key is available at Urazon. Age rating: PEGI 3.

Related Games

Time Lock VR-1 sits in the same corner of VR as I Expect You To Die 3, a spy-themed escape-room series where you pick apart rigged rooms with your own hands and every drawer might hide a trap. For something calmer with the same hands-on puzzling, The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets lets you explore little dioramas full of objects to poke, open and rearrange. Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes works brilliantly in VR too: one player wears the headset and defuses a bomb while friends read the manual aloud, which makes it a great party pick. And if bending time was your favourite part, SUPERHOT is built entirely on the rule that time only moves when you move.
