About 1666: Amsterdam
1666: Amsterdam is a dark, story-led third-person action-adventure by Panache Digital Games, the independent studio founded by Patrice Désilets and known for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. It launched in Steam Early Access in August 2026. Every 333 years something stirs, and in 1666 Amsterdam is a city of wealth and power fuelled by a sinister force.
You play Noa Brooklyn, born the Collector and raised by the Zaindaris to take back the power that centuries-old entities called the Originals have abused. By day you explore a handcrafted Amsterdam and investigate; the Originals hide behind human faces, and even the gablestones on the facades may lie. When the Esbat comes, you confront your marked targets in their true form under the moon, using witchcraft and spellcasting passed down through generations. Each target can be approached in several ways, so strategy, timing and choice shape the outcome.
Noa is not alone. Aaron, summoned from 1999, now sees the world through the eyes of a cat, and you switch between the two and their very different playstyles. As an Early Access game, content and features are still being expanded.

PC Version and Compatibility
You activate the key on Steam. The game needs 64-bit Windows 10 and fairly demanding hardware: an Intel Core i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB of RAM, a GeForce RTX 2060 Super 8 GB, Radeon RX 6600 8 GB or Intel Arc 580 with DirectX 12, and 50 GB of space on an SSD. Hardware ray tracing support is required. It is a single-player game with Steam Cloud. Full voice-over is in English, with interface and subtitles in French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese.
RU/CIS Activation & What You Receive
You receive a digital Steam key for the base game. This is an RU/CIS key: it can only be activated on Steam accounts from Russia and selected CIS countries, namely Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
