About Blazing Beaks

Blazing Beaks is a twin-stick roguelite shooter developed and published by the small studio Applava. After an Early Access period it received its full Steam release on 10 May 2019.

You pick one of ten gun-toting birds and fight through procedurally generated levels packed with mutants, monsters and bosses. The twist is greed: powerful artifacts tempt you along the way, but each one carries a drawback that can make the run much harder, so every pickup becomes a small gamble. Besides the story mode, which you can play alone or with a friend on the same screen, there is an arena tournament for two to four local players with modes such as deathmatch, one-gun rounds and a golden-skull contest.

Key Features

  • Risky artifacts – Strong items that come with painful side effects
  • Ten playable birds – Each character has its own ability and play style
  • Several run types – Normal, seeded, daily and challenge runs
  • Local co-op and versus – Story for two, tournament arena for up to four players
  • Community mods – Create and share custom characters through Steam Workshop

PC Version and Compatibility

The key activates the Windows version on Steam. Minimum requirements are Windows 7, a 2 GHz dual-core CPU, 2 GB RAM, Intel HD 4000 graphics and 600 MB of space. The interface is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese. Italian is not supported. Full controller support is included, and Remote Play Together lets friends join online.

Global Activation & What You Receive

Why Buy This Game?

Blazing Beaks suits players who like short, hectic runs where one decision can change everything. The artifact system adds real tension to each pickup, while the bright pixel art keeps the mood light. It runs on almost any PC, and the couch modes make it an easy pick for evenings with friends on one screen.
