In Blazing Chrome machines rule the world and the last humans are on the edge of extermination after an AI-controlled robot army took over. When a small rebel group learns about a huge AI power plant, the survivors set out on a suicide mission to destroy it. You play as Mavra, a tough human resistance soldier, or Doyle, a reprogrammed rebel robot, and blast through 5 apocalyptic environments full of robot enemies. Hoverbikes, mech armour and a whole arsenal of weapons help against a series of giant mechanical bosses. A friend can join in local split-screen co-op, or via Remote Play Together.
