About I Hate This Place
I Hate This Place is an isometric, craft-based survival horror game by Rock Square Thunder, published by Feardemic in January 2026. Inspired by the award-nominated comic series by Kyle Starks and Artyom Topilin, it is set in a cursed land full of reality-bending nightmares and creatures that thrive in the dark.
Scavenge every corner of Rutherford Ranch – haunted forests, a derelict town, infested bunkers – to craft gear, upgrade your campsite and rebuild outposts. A dynamic day-night cycle changes everything: nights bring more and stronger enemies. Many creatures hunt by sound, so lure them away or into your traps rather than relying on brute force. Bold retro comic art, '80s flair, dark humour and a touch of gore.
