About Machinarium
Machinarium is the award-winning adventure game from Amanita Design, the makers of Samorost, CHUCHEL and Phonopolis, first released in October 2009. A little robot named Josef is thrown out into the scrapyard behind the city. Help him find his way back, deal with the Black Cap Brotherhood and save his girlfriend Berta.
The world is populated only by robots of various shapes and functions, and the game takes place in the old, rusty and legendary city of Machinarium. Solve logic puzzles, adventure quests, brain teasers and mini-games across hand-drawn 2D backgrounds with more than an hour of carefully crafted animation. There is no lengthy dialogue – characters talk through comic bubbles – and the original soundtrack is by Tomáš Dvořák (Floex).
