Capcom’s turn-based Rider RPG predates Stories 2: bond Monsties such as Zinogre, Nargacuga and Lagiacrus, channel through the Rite of Channeling, and stack Kinship Gauge bursts in Power, Speed and Technical triangle combat. English and Japanese voice tracks ship with a museum of 200 art pieces and every original update, including Kushala Daora, Teostra and Rajang. A US eShop code lands the first Stories on a United States Nintendo Account.

Nintendo UK lists Single System (1), Local Wireless (2) and Online (2). Battles with another player need Internet and Nintendo Switch Online. The Rider campaign itself is the 2016 first Stories, separate from Stories 2.
