Monstrum remixes the survival horror formula with procedurally generated levels, permadeath and AI-driven predators, so nowhere on its derelict cargo ship is ever truly safe. Each run you face one of three monster types, each with its own behaviour and tactics. The ship's interior shifts shape every time, moving items and escape routes around, so you must explore its depths to find the parts needed for your way out. Hide in lockers or under furniture, use distractions to lure the monster away, and watch for traps as you run. Death is permanent – get caught and you start over.
