Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter is the high-definition remake of Croteam's classic arcade FPS. Sam 'Serious' Stone is sent back through time to ancient Egypt to battle the overwhelming forces of Notorious Mental and the Sirian army. The remake runs on Serious Engine 3 with redesigned environments and enemies – from the charging Sirian Werebull and the screaming Headless Kamikaze to the multi-storey Ugh-Zan. You wield revolvers, miniguns and huge cannons across 15 levels, and the whole campaign can be played in co-op with up to 16 players.
