About Urban Struggle

Urban Struggle is the complete standard base game from Pirituba Hills Studio, a retro 2D fighter set in a fictional São Paulo near 2099. A military leader has thrown the city into chaos, and freedom fighters enter the conflict to defend their communities and beliefs.

Its 8-bit presentation frames direct one-on-one battles around a simplified four-button system. Weak and strong attacks cover the basic strikes, while a character-specific Trait Skill and the Manifest command open each fighter’s more distinctive options.

Trait Skills act as individual tools that differ across the roster. Manifest Mode draws on each character’s faith and deity, enhancing skills and movement during a match and changing how special attacks can be used.

Every fighter also carries Super Impact and Hyper Impact techniques. Each move spends one bar of the Special Gauge, so choosing when to shift between the normal state and Manifest Mode becomes part of the round-by-round strategy.
