In 1998, a family on a road trip stops at a desert motel in small-town Arizona just as a robbery goes terribly wrong, and two families become entangled for the next thirty years. Told across two books, the story jumps between characters and decades, and every decision, from what to say to whether to fight or flee, can change relationships, open or close paths and decide who survives. Real actors are digitally rendered into a striking illustrated style that plays like a motion graphic novel. You can play alone or with up to eight people locally or online, voting on choices with a phone or controller, and replay to uncover very different outcomes. The game deals with violence, family conflict, mental health and suicide.
