About KIBORG
KIBORG is a fast and brutal action game from Sobaka Studio, released in April 2025. It is set in a future where even death cannot free you: if a criminal dies while serving their sentence, they are reconstructed to return to their suffering. Your character is serving a sentence of thirteen hundred years, and the only way to shorten it is to win on a show called The Last Ticket. The rules are simple. A shuttle waits on the roof of the prison, and if you can fight your way through hordes of other inmates and reach it in time, you will be given your freedom.
The game is a hybrid of old-school beat’em ups, shooters and roguelikes, and its fights are fast, brutal and deadly. You sever limbs, squash heads and tear cybernetic cores apart from living foes. There are dozens of enemy types with unique abilities and tactics, and they are mixed and matched to create hundreds of challenging encounters, so no two runs through the prison play out exactly alike. Combos and special attacks let you devastate groups of enemies, while careful positioning keeps you alive when a fresh wave pours into the room. It is unapologetically violent and aimed at players who want blood and gore.
Build variety is at the heart of every run. You replace your body parts with an array of cybernetic implants, each enabling a different playstyle, and experiment with hundreds of power-enhancing augmentations. Dozens of mutations can be applied on top to create deadly synergies between abilities. You wield a variety of melee weapons and firearms of all types, switching between close-range brawling and gunfire as the situation demands. With millions of possible combinations and countless viable builds, each attempt to reach the roof can feel like a new experiment in how to tear through the guards and inmates between you and freedom.
KIBORG features full controller support, with a gamepad recommended for the best feel, as well as leaderboards for comparing your results and fifty two achievements to earn. A second player can also join on a shared screen for local sessions on the same couch. The game supports cloud saves, so your progress follows you between computers.
