About Rakuen
Rakuen is a story-driven adventure game developed and published by Laura Shigihara. Steam release date: 10 May 2017.
A young boy who lives in a hospital asks his mom to take him into the fantasy world of his favourite storybook, hoping the Guardian of the Forest will grant him one wish. To earn it, he has to help the other patients by meeting their alter egos on the other side: a grumpy old man guarding a broken music box, a woman in a coma and her devoted husband, a girl who never said goodbye to a friend. There is no combat; instead you solve gentle dungeons, eerie room-escape puzzles and small mysteries, all tied together by an original soundtrack with vocal songs.
