About Teslagrad

Teslagrad is a 2D puzzle platformer developed and published by Rain Games. Steam release: 13 December 2013.

A young boy flees the soldiers of a despotic king and slips into the long-abandoned Tesla Tower, home of the vanished Teslamancers. Inside, every room is a puzzle built on magnetism and electricity: you charge yourself and objects with red or blue polarity to attract, repel and float, and later gain a short-range blink and other gadgets that open new routes through the non-linear tower. The story is told purely through images, with no text, dialogue or loading screens, and hidden scroll cards reveal the history of the kingdom. Five demanding boss fights test everything you have learned.

Key Features

  • Magnetic polarity – attract, repel and float with red and blue charges.
  • Non-linear tower – new gadgets open new routes.
  • Wordless storytelling – no text, dialogue or cutscenes.
  • Hand-drawn art – steampunk vision of old Europe.
  • Five bosses – old-school fights against the tower.
