About This Means Warp

This Means Warp is a co-op spaceship roguelite developed by Outlier. Full Steam release: 4 May 2023.

Alone or with up to three friends, you crew a starship racing through procedurally generated space while an unstoppable enemy fleet closes in. Run between rooms to load cannons, fire lasers, raise shields and put out fires as rival ships attack, all from a single shared deck. Between battles you choose your route, collect scrap, and buy or rearrange weapons, rooms and helper bots, so every ship layout plays differently. No two runs are alike, and the more the crew communicates, the longer the ship survives.

Key Features

  • Co-op crew – 1–4 players, local or online.
  • Hands-on combat – load, fire and repair yourself.
  • Ship building – rearrange rooms and weapons.
  • Roguelite runs – procedurally generated sectors.
  • Helper bots – automate tasks on deck.

Related Games

This Means Warp's mix of spaceship combat and improvisation pairs naturally with Heat Signature, where you sneak aboard procedurally generated ships and plan daring heists across the galaxy. The frantic shared-workspace teamwork of running between stations is the heart of Overcooked! 2, just with kitchens instead of cannons. PlateUp! brings the same co-op pressure into a restaurant you upgrade between days, so layout choices matter as much as they do on your ship, and Marooners is a lighter pick when the crew wants pure party chaos between serious runs.
