You play Kazimierz, a middle-aged farmer whose run-down homestead in a sleepy Polish village needs a lot of work. Plough fields, plant and harvest crops, care for animals, fix up buildings and trade at the market, all at your own pace in an open countryside. Daily needs such as food, sleep and hygiene shape your routine, and the village is full of neighbours with their own stories. Kazimierz is fond of a drink, and alcohol use appears throughout the game.
