It is midnight, you are dead and you have a serious case of the munchies. As a hungry undead worm living in a cemetery, you chew your way through a long series of compact levels in search of the next late night snack.
The goal of every stage sounds simple: eat everything on the board except yourself. Each bite makes the worm longer, so the body you leave behind slowly turns into a wall. One careless move can leave you boxed in with food still out of reach, which is exactly where the challenge of the game lies.
Because the rules fit in a single sentence, the difficulty comes entirely from planning. Before you move you need to picture the path your tail will take, decide which corner to clear first and leave yourself a way out. Early boards teach the basics in a few moves, while later layouts demand careful thinking several steps ahead.
New elements keep the formula fresh over 120 levels. Keys open locked doors and split the board into sections, odd shaped islands of tiles force unusual routes, and food placed in awkward spots tests whether you really understood the layout.
