About MONOWAVE

MONOWAVE is the complete standalone puzzle adventure about Mono, a newborn Guardian spirit charged with bringing Happiness, Sorrow, Anger and Anxiety back into balance. The four Emotions have scattered after their shards vanished from the Prism Tree, leaving its world in disorder.

Each Emotion changes movement. Happiness provides a higher jump, Sorrow lets Mono melt through narrow gaps, Anger enables wall-jumps, and Anxiety heightens the ability to avoid threats and cross difficult ground. Sharing these states with nearby spirits also changes their behaviour, turning empathy into a tool for environmental puzzles.

The journey crosses four realms shaped by their ruling Emotion, from fog-covered jungle paths to fiery caverns. Eccentric inhabitants react to Mono’s powers, while a scratch-art-inspired visual style and an original soundtrack give the world its fairytale character.

Play is built around reading a colourful 2D scene, choosing the useful emotional power and combining platform movement with puzzle solving. The entire journey works for one player, while a second person can join the local co-op mode or connect through Remote Play Together.
