About RATSHAKER

RATSHAKER is a short first-person psychological horror game developed by Sunscorched Studios and published with Dark Product. Steam release date: 31 October 2024.

RATSHAKER presents itself as a cheerful infomercial: grab a rat, shake it and watch the RATSHAKER meter rise until all your problems disappear. Behind the satirical sales pitch lies a short, unsettling first-person horror story that shifts between an ordinary home, surreal red corridors and open fields. The game is driven by its mood and its slow revelation rather than by combat. The developers warn about graphic content, including blood, domestic abuse and violence, references to alcoholism and mental health themes, so it is meant for adult players only. No real rats were harmed in the making of the game.
