About Risk of Rain 2

Risk of Rain 2 is Hopoo Games’ third-person roguelite, issued with Gearbox Publishing and 2K. You crash on a hostile moon, pick a survivor, and race the teleporter while monsters and your own item stack both scale without a ceiling.

A run is loot plus clock. More than 110 items combine in odd ways: one pickup changes your sprint, the next turns a proc into a storm. Logs in the cabin explain what you just strapped on.

Eleven survivors sit in the roster, from Commando and Huntress to Engineer, MUL-T and the Captain, each with alternate skills. Artifacts flip rules such as friendly fire or item choice. Stages shuffle, bosses rotate, and you either escape the final encounter or keep looping to see how far the scale goes.

You can take a run alone or in online co-op with up to three others, four in a squad. Online PvP and the rotating Prismatic Trials sit beside the campaign loop. This key is the base game; later survivor packs are sold on their own listings.
