Set in the deserts of the Middle East during the Crusades, Stronghold Crusader 2 combines castle building with real-time battles. You raise walls, towers and gatehouses, set up farms, quarries and workshops to feed your economy and keep your people content with food, taxes and ale. Armies of European and Arabian units, from archers and knights to Hashashin and camel riders, defend your keep and storm enemy fortresses with catapults, trebuchets and siege towers, and the physics-based destruction lets walls crumble stone by stone. Historical campaigns, skirmish against famous AI lords, sandstorms, plagues and other events, and multiplayer with up to eight players offer plenty to do.
