About The Last Gas Station
The Last Gas Station is a compact management simulation developed and published by Alawar. Released on 28 April 2026 for Windows and macOS, it is set in a near future where electric cars have taken over the roads and old petrol pumps have almost vanished. You inherit a tired fuel stop and a small convenience store deep in the mountains, far from the nearest town. The previous owner disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and the dusty building, the broken pumps and the piles of rubbish are now your responsibility.
Your first days are about cleaning and repairing. You clear out trash, sort the yard, fix the old equipment and decide how the space should look. Then the business side opens up: you order goods, stock shelves and fridges with snacks, drinks and road trip supplies, set your own prices and work the cash register when travellers pull in. Fuel levels have to be monitored and refilled, and happy customers raise the popularity of the station so more visitors stop by. Every coin you earn goes back into upgrades.
Modernising the station is a satisfying long-term goal. You can replace worn machines, install a tyre inflation stand, set up an area for oil changes and maintenance, buff scratches off car bodies and customise a glowing neon sign that can be seen on the darkest nights. Inside, you buy shelving and refrigerators, enlarge the building, widen the product range and optimise the layout to serve more people faster. The charming pixel art, bright mountain scenery and friendly locals around the lake make the daily loop relaxing and easy to enjoy.
There is also a quiet mystery. Locals warn you never to go outside at night, and the woods around the station hide odd sculptures, strange sounds and clues about what happened to the last owner. Exploring after dark is optional but slowly reveals the secret of the place.
