The RPG is a comedic first-person RPG-lite parody developed by Dionysus Acroreites, published by Catoptric Games and released on 7 August 2025. Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes of a dungeon? On Adventure Island the dungeon floors are run by the island administration, and nothing is quite as heroic as it seems.
Technical floor workers keep everything ticking: they light the torches, reset the traps and even heal the monsters between visits from heroes. Meanwhile you discover that loot is sold by weight, that bread plucked straight into wounds is the proper way to heal, and that the classic genre habits are all fair game for a joke.
Something is going wrong, though. The Glitchy Dragon has started breaking the rules of the game, and the Cool King hides a secret of his own. Your choices matter and lead to multiple endings, adjustable difficulty lets you set the pace, and the developers proudly promise that there are no fishing mini-games anywhere.
