About Trash Goblin
Trash Goblin is a wholesome and cosy shopkeeping game developed by Spilt Milk Studios Ltd, published by Spilt Milk Studios Ltd and Gamersky Games and released on 28 May 2025. You play a goblin who runs a small trinket shop, uncovering odd objects, cleaning them up and selling them to an endless parade of eccentric customers in a colourful fantasy market town.
Every item starts as a lump of dirt and cruft on your wooden workbench. You chip it away piece by piece, since each type of dirt yields in its own way, until a peculiar curio appears, from a bedpan to a teapot or a vase. Then you scrub it with a sponge until it shines. With Hugh you can extract materials from one trinket and apply them to another, and you can combine pieces into strange new forms to meet very specific requests.
Customers range from a blue lizard at the counter to dozens of other charming regulars, and 40 unique characters have stories to tell while others are just browsing. Your savings go into better tools, a soak tub for overnight cleaning, a coffee pot, display mats, an honesty box, more shelves and new decorations such as wallpaper, bedclothes and plants. There is a gentle daily limit, but no fail states, so you can potter at your own pace across four locations, over 120 quests and more than 20 hours of story.
The game runs on Windows 10 and supports 14 interface languages, including English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Polish. The minimum setup requires an Intel Pentium 2 GHz processor or AMD equivalent, 2 GB of RAM, a DX11 or DX12 capable graphics card and 3 GB of free disk space.
