About ABZU

ABZU is an underwater adventure developed by Giant Squid and published by 505 Games, released on Steam on 2 August 2016. It was led by Matt Nava, the art director of Journey.

You play a diver exploring a vast, colourful ocean without words or menus. Glide through coral reefs, kelp forests and deep caverns, ride along with whales and sharks, and wake ancient mechanisms to restore life to the sea. Thousands of fish move in real time around you, and meditation statues let you simply sit and watch the ecosystem. The orchestral score is by Austin Wintory.
