About Autonauts vs Piratebots
Autonauts vs Piratebots is an automation strategy game developed by Denki and published by Headup in July 2022. Grave news arrives from a nearby planet: Piratebots are kidnapping Autonauts and taking over their automated settlements. As Captain of the Autonauts Defence Force, you answer the distress signal and find the base camp in ruins and every outpost under pirate control. To win, you must defeat the Dread Pirate Robot, whose heavily defended stronghold lies on the far side of the world.
Before the big showdown, the settlement has to work again. You automate a farming business to earn gold and fund the defence campaign, using industrious Workerbots, your own ingenuity and every natural resource you can harness. Bots learn tasks by watching you, so you craft tools and machines, teach routines and watch a busy little economy grow. The game calls it a whole new take on automation and strategy, built for newcomers and veterans of the original Autonauts alike.
Defence is where things get tactical. You build squads of Defencebots including Warriors, Archers and Knights, then use combat programming to take on hordes of Piratebots and their Boss Mates. Bosses such as Long Bot Silver, Botbeard and Botbarossa stand in the way of the final assault on the fortress. Raiders storm your growing base to pillage it, so you set up guard patrols, raise defensive walls and deploy armed towers, while stolen pirate technology helps free your fellow Autonauts.
It is a single player game that offers 29 achievements, trading cards and cloud saves.
