About Besiege
Besiege is a physics-based building game in which you design medieval siege engines and send them to conquer a fantasy kingdom. Each level gives you a clear objective, such as destroying a windmill, flattening a fortress or wiping out a camp of soldiers, and leaves it entirely up to you how your machine gets the job done.
You assemble your creations block by block from wooden beams, wheels, hinges, springs, flamethrowers, cannons, bombs and dozens of other parts. Every piece obeys real physics, so a machine that looks brilliant on paper may tip over, shake itself apart or fling its own driver across the field the moment you press a key.
That freedom is the heart of the game. One player solves a level with a towering catapult, another with a rolling battering ram, and a third with a flying contraption that drops explosives from above. Destructible buildings and panicking troops react convincingly, which makes every successful strike satisfying and every failure funny.
Beyond the campaign across several islands, Besiege includes a sandbox mode, a level editor and multiplayer for building and fighting together. Steam Workshop support adds thousands of community machines and levels, so there is always a new design to study or a fresh challenge to tackle.
Key Features
- Block-by-block building – Combine beams, wheels, hinges, cannons, bombs and many other parts to create any machine you can imagine.
- Real physics – Every block reacts to weight, force and impact, so careful engineering decides whether a design succeeds.
- Destructible worlds – Fortresses, windmills and armies collapse, burn and scatter realistically when your machine hits them.
- Varied campaign – Conquer island after island with objectives that reward creative and unusual solutions.
- Sandbox and editor – Experiment freely without limits or build your own levels to share with others.
- Multiplayer – Construct machines with friends or test them against each other in online sessions.
- Steam Workshop – Download thousands of community machines and levels to keep the fun going for years.
PC Version and Compatibility
This key adds the Windows version of Besiege to your Steam account; macOS and Linux are also supported. The game is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish and several other languages. It runs well on modest hardware with a dual-core processor and a DirectX 11 graphics card.
Global Activation & What You Receive
You receive a digital Steam key for the standard game. It is a Global key with no regional restriction, so it works on a Steam account in any country. In the Steam client choose Games → Activate a Product on Steam, enter the code and the game is added to your library permanently. Besiege then installs like any other Steam game, and your Workshop subscriptions, saved machines and achievements are tied to that account.
Why Buy This Game?
Besiege is one of the most creative physics games on Steam: easy to start, endlessly deep and constantly rewarding clever ideas. It is perfect for players who love tinkering, engineering puzzles and spectacular destruction, and it offers huge replay value at a fair price.
Related Games
Engineers who love watching a clever design survive real physics should try Poly Bridge 2, where you build bridges that must carry cars, trucks and even jumping vehicles across tricky gaps. From the Depths takes block-by-block construction to sea and sky with fully customisable warships, while Kerbal Space Program challenges you to design rockets and fly them into orbit. For classic medieval sieges on a grand scale, Stronghold Crusader HD lets you storm and defend castles with whole armies.
