About Broforce
Broforce is a run and gun action platformer developed by Free Lives, published by Devolver Digital and released on 15 October 2015. When evil threatens the world, the world calls on Broforce, an under-funded, over-powered paramilitary organisation dealing exclusively in excessive force. Its members are the bros, a team of muscle-bound heroes who answer every threat with as many explosions as possible.
You run and gun as dozens of different bros, each with their own unique weaponry and special attacks designed to dispatch freedom across the world. One bro fires a machine gun, another throws grenades and another swings a blade, so every hero changes the way you tackle a level. Freeing captured bros from their cages swaps you to a new character on the spot, which keeps every mission unpredictable and fresh.
Almost everything in the pixel-art levels can be destroyed. You can tunnel through the ground, bring down towers and set off incredible chain reactions of fire, napalm and explosions that rip whole areas apart. Up to four players can brace themselves and play together on one screen, or turn on each other in several bombastic competitive modes. The Explosion Run mode adds unique time attack levels, where you race through the stage under the constant pressure of blasts close behind you.
Broforce runs on Windows, macOS and Linux and is available in 9 languages, including English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.
