About Car Mechanic Simulator 2018
Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 is a detailed repair and restoration simulator developed by Red Dot Games and published by PlayWay. You start in a small workshop and take on randomly generated jobs: diagnose faults, strip engines and suspensions part by part, order replacements and hand the car back in working order.
Beyond regular orders, the Barn Find mode sends you searching old barns for forgotten classics, while the Junkyard lets you dig through wrecks for cars and parts. Restored vehicles can be kept in a multilevel parking garage, sold or traded at car auctions. A Car Editor and the Workshop add community-made cars.
The game counts more than 40 cars, over 10 tools and more than 1000 parts. Earned experience unlocks upgrades such as a paint shop or a parts warehouse, and you can check your work on a path test, test track and race track. A photo mode captures before-and-after shots of each restoration.
