About FlatOut 4: Total Insanity
FlatOut 4: Total Insanity is a demolition racing game developed by Kylotonn and published by Strategy First, released in April 2017. FlatOut is back, and reckless driving has never been this much fun. The game blends everything players have loved about the series into one package and adds new features, game modes and vehicles. Expect nitro-fuelled demolition and derby racing across a variety of tracks, modes and arenas, with high-speed collisions, flying debris and a physics engine built on Nvidia PhysX and the KT Engine that makes every crash feel heavy and chaotic.
The garage holds 27 cars to unlock, customize and race, including tributes to series favourites and brand new additions. Twenty dynamic tracks cover traditional derby racing, time trials, arenas, assault levels, carnage levels and more. Destructible environments bring chaos back to racing, so fences, barrels, tyre stacks and whole structures break apart around you. In the new Assault Mode an arsenal of deadly weapons is at your disposal to slow down or destroy opponents, while Arena Mode offers three styles of play called Death Match, Capture the Flag and Survivor.
The legendary Stunt Mode returns with twelve stunts in total: six new ones and six re-imagined classic stunt mini-games, all built around launching your driver through the windscreen for epic crashes and death-defying manoeuvres. Hot Seat Mode lets you take turns with family and friends in stunt competitions on one PC. Twelve drivers, six male and six female, are ready to race, from Classic and Military to Prisoner, Punk, Clown and Hippie, plus the exclusive drivers Gadget Stewart and Dave Worker. The exclusive Ice Lake Arena and the Ice Breaker and Repair Truck vehicles complete the line-up.
Solo play lets you race, destroy and enjoy the Stuntman mode at your own pace, and competitive modes support up to eight players across destruction arenas and race courses where well-placed traps decide the winner. A thumping soundtrack with more than 35 indie music tracks from around the world drives the action. Full gamepad support makes the cars easy to handle, and the high-end 3D rendering shows off every dent, spark and shattered window in detail. The game runs on 64-bit Windows 7 and supports English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian.
